Is it possible to be happy about losing weight?

I am going to let you in on a secret on how you can feel happy before losing weight.

Hi this is Sheri McNally, Nutritionist and Author. Like I said in last week’s video blog, weight loss does not begin in the kitchen or the gym it actually begins with a vision.

Without a clear cut vision for weight loss you may just be spinning your wheels.

So you want to lose 20 pounds what does that look like to you?

Many of my clients have thought that after they lose weight then they can be happy.

Don’t you want to be happy now, not after you lose 20 pounds?

When you create a vision you are living your dream today not waiting for tomorrow.

The most powerful action you can take is to feel good about yourself now.

Last week I had you create a positive statement of what you want after you figured out what didn’t want, did you do that?

Now I would like you to find pictures in magazines or online that support your positive statement.

To recap, you need to have a clear cut vision of what you want to look and feel like at your ideal weight.

You can be happy right now, you don’t have to wait till you lose 20 pounds.

In order to see your vision and feel good now look for pictures in magazines and online.

Paste your pictures onto a board so you can see them every day.
