A Simple Tip To Boost Your Will Power

Will Power

Did you know that only 8% of people achieve their New Year’s resolutions? If you fall into this category, then you need to stay tuned because I have a simple tip to help you to make your goals a reality starting today.

Hi this is Sheri McNally. Scientific research reveals that the reason for the 8% has to do with willpower, but not in the way that you may think.

If you set any goals this year, do you actually believe you will achieve these goals?

That scientific research I mentioned showed that goal achieving had to do with a belief in your “durability of will power.”

You may want to lose weight but you may not believe you have the will power to do it.

Therefore, your lack of belief in your will-power determines your ability to achieve your goal.

Before you can achieve a goal you need to get into the right mind-set because will-power without belief is like trying to drive a car without gas.

When you get into the right mind-set you fuel your will-power.

To fuel your will-power you need to build a momentum of good feeling thoughts that will in turn increase your feeling rating.

Today write down three things that make you feel good. It doesn’t have to do with weight loss. Better yet, don’t even focus on weight loss.

Remember, your ability to achieve your goals has to do with your belief in your will-power.

You fuel your will-power with your mind-set.

Your mind-set is fueled by your ability to feel good about yourself.

Let me know in the comments below what are three things that make you feel good that have nothing to do with weight loss.
